Everything in between... (Sharoza, Sunnybee & rojak)
Hey guys~
What's up?
As for me, I ate out a lot for the past two weeks while catching up with friends and family so I've got more photos to share on top of the continuation of my Melbourne's trip! It would be a really long and boring post to squeeze in everything into one post so I'm going to split my foodie weeks into a few posts.
I'll be sharing photos from :
Charcoal BBQ & Grill's set lunch (KB Branch),
Gloria Jean's Coffee (Citis Square, BSB) & Pastamania (Times Square, BSB),
Prego Mauri (KB Branch),
Caliente (Regent Square, Kiulap)
and everything in between.
And so, let's start with everything in between.
#1 - Sharoza Restaurant & Catering
It's a new restaurant that's just opened not long ago in Lumut. In fact, I wouldn't know it exists until I asked a colleague of mine for a place to get iced cendol one hot noon. Without much thoughts, I dropped by with a few colleagues right away! It's located at the end of Makro Jaya's building and a few doors down from the book store, Teras Maju.
I had iced cendol and some french fries while my colleagues had kolo mee. I was told the kolo mee's good! Definitely going back to try them!
As for the interior of the mini restaurant/cafe, it's very new, modern and simple. White walls supported by dark wooden furniture, a tall bar table and many framed pictures of food on the wall. Not bad for a place that's out of BSB.
Iced cendol before I crushed the ice.

Iced cendol after I crushed the ice.
It's not the best that I've had but it's enough to quench my thirst on that hot and sunny afternoon.
They serve the local delicacy ambuyat too!
Some info taken from the picture above:

#2 Sunny Bee Bakeshop & Cafe
This is one of my secret places in KB that I sometimes go to when I just want to have my meal or afternoon tea quietly without meeting any acquaintance or shout over talking at normal volume.
Can I not disclose this place?
HAHA
Alright, it's not that secret anyways if you do happen to live in KB cos this place has been around for quite some time! It's located just right next to Eng Hong Supermarket which is across the road from the Sugarbun in KB?
Here are some photos I got from their
facebook.
And now, my photos.

#3 Rojak at Seria's mee stall
Come on, this place does not need any introduction right? I am sure you've been here thousands of times no matter where you stay. It's the 3rd stall from the main door and run by a few ladies. Just look for friendly ladies who are always smiling no matter how busy they are and you'll know you're at the right stall.
My most favourite iced cendol! Ahhhhh... THE BEST!!
So cold and milky accompanied by really chewy cendol~
Pair that cold drink with rojak!
My preferences, just the mang kuang, tofu and sotong!
The nice lady forgot to put mang kuang in my rojak and she came back to me with a separate plate of mang kuang!! T^T she's so nice and generous! Now you know why so many people go back to them all the time?
Maybe I should drop by really soon to get my fix of iced cendol!
Have a lovely day at school, work or home tomorrow!
