Hi there! This is ichig0.

Foodie trip to Kuala Lumpur, December 2011 - Day 1 & 2 ~
Hey guys! What's up? It's Brunei's Armed Forces Day today so most of us got a day off. I am so glad for a day off cause it has been ages since I had a good rest. Life's so crazy for the past week. I could hardly do anything once I get home every evening cause I'd be so dead tired. Working for around 11 hours every day for a week is crazy! Sometimes I even wonder if I should just quit and find something else that I really love to do.
*sigh*
Anyway, my plan for today is to update this blog and just relax at home. Here's a song that is being replayed a lot this week!
Btob - Irresistible Lips
They are Beast's juniors and I must say they are quite good! This song reminds me a lot of Beast's Fiction. I miss my boys so much! I am anticipating their comeback next month! I love this song although I didn't really like the music video.
Alright, with this song on repeat, I present my delayed yummy post on my eating and relaxing trip to Kuala Lumpur last December. Please leave this page if you are hungry, on a diet or offended by non-halal food pictures. You've been warned! :)
Kuala Lumpur (KL) - Day 1 & 2
Itinerary: Board flight, eat and shopping!
Chicken focaccia and pancakes during our flight. Love! Please pre-book your meal at AirAsia.com. ♥ ♥ ♥
Iced milk tea, iced yin yong and iced green tea latte from Kim Gary Restaurant.
KGR is a place that is a must visit for me whenever I drop by KL.
It's a huge ass cup! Couldn't finish it!
♥ ♥ ♥
We were really hungry and we wanted to eat ASAP so I ordered this, Fried Spaghetti with Pork Fillet.
Personally, I prefer the one with beef but this is still good. If we had more time, I'd have ordered my favourite, Hong Kong style baked rice with cheese and pork chop/beef. OMG, I really want some now! Anyway, KGR is at Sungei Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang. For more information(menu!), here's their website.
The next day, I met up with two friends who were studying in KL.
While waiting for my friend to arrive from her uni, I took some photos of the beautiful Christmas decorations at Pavilion, KL.
The cupcake at the top was actually revolving! Sorry, no videos~
Carousel! So pretty!
Finally got to see my friend again after months! We caught up over lots of food. No kidding! Sometime in the afternoon, another friend, who I'd not seen for ages, joined us for tea and dinner.
First stop, Watami for Japanese food.
I wanted to find this ramen place but I didn't remember the name so we just randomly entered this place.
Our lunch!
I forgot what we ordered but there're tofu and scallops! YUMS! Even that bowl of salad on the bottom left's so good!
Ok, I checked out the menu from their website! Lucky you!
Atsuage Mentai Cheese (top left), Hotate Butter Yaki (top right).
Salad and sushi came with our ramen set. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
We shared a shoyu ramen. Not bad but not what I expected. ♥ ♥
Our dessert!
This is the bomb!!
Matcha (green tea) tiramisu! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Click here for Pavilion's website and here for Watami's website. Click here for the menu page!! Ok, I wanna go back there again!
We had tea at Old Town, also at Pavilion, after some shopping. After more chit chats, we continued to shop.
Dinner's Korean food from Pavilion's food court at its basement.
Ddukbukki, kimbap, kimchi chiage, bulgogi and seafood pajeon~
I'd say only the ddukbukki and bulgogi are up to standard.
But it's ok, it's food court food so you don't ask for too much, right?
We went to Delectable, on Pavilion's 4th floor to get some sweet stuff.
It was pretty late already so these were what's available.
So pretty!
Huge macarons with pretty and cute ribbons!
Cupcakes and cookies.
What my friend got for herself and her friends.
What I got~
:)
Taste was alright but I'd definitely head back to try other stuff.
